Horizon Search Institute is an independent, nonpartisan research institute. HSI uses Compound Transition as an organizing framework for studying how technological, human, planetary, and geopolitical change interact inside institutions. Its work is organized in four permanent research domains, Technology, Human Capability, Planetary and Space Systems, and Governance and Diplomacy, and runs through inquiries that cross them. HSI publishes original research, builds open governance tools, and convenes decision-makers. Horizon Search Institute is the registered trade name of HSI Research Foundation, a Delaware nonprofit corporation (EIN 42-1954110); tax-deductible contributions are received through the Foundation’s fiscal sponsor, Fiscal Sponsorship Allies, Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity.
